Background
The Group coordinator, Jan Durbridge, says:
‘I am a certified instructor in Long White Cloud QiGong.
QiGong is an ancient practice used to build health, reduce
stress and anxiety, and promote longevity and vitality. It
combines slow graceful movements with mental concentration
and breathing techniques. It can be practised both standing
or sitting, so it is a suitable form of exercise even for
people with limited mobility, or recovering from illness’.
Following the popularity of the first series Jan has offered to hold another series. This series of sessions will take place at 11.15am on Tuesdays from 5 to 26 September and from 10 October until 12 December.
It will be run in a local community centre (details issued in the WOW).
