Private house in the Highbury area.

The Members will read mainly, but not exclusively, modern German literature, then meet to discuss it. Members can speak in either English or German, in whichever language they feel more comfortable.
Heinrich BoellOur first choice of book is "Die Verlorene Ehre der Katharine Blum" by Heinrich Boell. Further suggestions for future reading are "Der Vorleser" by Bernhard Schlink or "Jeder stirbt für sich allein" by Hans Fallada.
