Important AGM Don't forget

(& supporting Special General Meeting)

Islington U3A held its eighth AGM on Thursday 25 November 2021 at 10.00am as a hybrid meeting. Therefore members could attend in person or online. The details of the Zoom link option was issued to members via our Bulletin. The AGM took place before the usual monthly meeting talk. You can see a recording of the meeting here.

Unfortunately a quorum was not achieved and so a Special General Meeting (SGM) was called for 20th January, 2022. You can see the Notification of this SPG here: SGM Notification. This SGM approved the minutes and hence the resolutions submitted to the November AGM. Minutes of the SGM can be read here.

You can see the formal notification and the Agenda used for the AGM here: Agenda

The date for nominations for any of the positions on the Executive Committee has now past. The list of standing nominations is listed below. However you can apply to join the Executive Committee at any point in the year. You can understand more about the Executive Committee by reading: How The Executive Committee Works

The list of received nominations before the AGM can be viewed here: Standing Nominations.
You can send in a proxy vote form rather than attending on the day or voting through Zoom. You can find the form here: Proxy Vote Form.
The Trustees' Report for the year ending 30 September 2021 is available here: Report and the Year End accounts here: Accounts.
