The group is taking a break over the summer and classes (weekly on Wednesdays from 1.00 to 2.15pm)  will resume in early September 2021.

Either on Zoom or in The Walter Sickert Community Centre or a mixture of both (To Be Confirmed).

Yoga 2The coordinator is a qualified British Wheel of Yoga instructor and these classes comprise breathing, yoga postures and sequences and relaxation and meditation practices. The classes will be tailored to suit most levels of physical ability. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact the coordinator.

The benefits of yoga are many and varied. And very well documented. The British Wheel of Yoga website is a good place to start if you are interested!

Yoga 1The group is very friendly and new members are most welcome to come along, try a class, then join if you think it suits you. The class is now free of charge.

To keep numbers at a safe and manageable level, we have set up a waiting list for new enquiries. Please email me if you would like to be added to the waiting list and I'll keep you posted when space becomes available.

The hall is light, airy and warm. It's always a good idea to wear layers for yoga as we warm up, get active and then become quite still for relaxation. A blanket is a good idea. Mats, blocks and some blankets are available at the hall. If members prefer to bring their own equipment, items may be stored in a locked cupboard.

Thanks to all who already come to this lovely group. If you haven't been for a while please consider coming back and if you are totally new please come along and see what we do. Everyone is most welcome to work at their own pace and to their capabilities.
