WALKING WITH A CAMERA
 This group is about
enjoying walking, taking photos and sharing our best
shots via WhatsApp. We aim to share good practice as

Group walks on the 1st Monday of the month. Ad hoc face to face meet-ups generally on the 3rd Monday of the month. |

Members post their
photos around a monthly theme via our dedicated WhatsApp
group. We aim to develop our photography appreciation and
skills by sharing comments and tips. Our monthly walks,
which are both guided and less structured rambles, are an
opportunity to meet in person and share ideas.
Each month one member chooses a theme for the photos to be
taken/shared and another member chooses their three
favourite photos at the end of the month (see below).
It’s flexible and fun — post as much or as little as you
want — and is a great creative outlet, so if you are
interested in sharing your photos and walking with others,
do join us! The group started during Covid and has evolved
as a hybrid of remote and actual engagement, with the
posting of all photos on to a WhatsApp group, which also
acts as a chat shop.
