Two hours once a month face-to-face.
The monthly face-to-face meetings would be held on Thursday afternoons. Room open from 2.00pm — start time 2.15-3.45 with tea break.
Where

At a centre on Holloway Rd.


Introduction

A new group —  Mindfulness, convened by Sila Trevor — is scheduled to start on Thursday 25 January 2024, with monthly meetings to follow.

Sila writes: "I have been an honorary mindfulness practitioner for seven years in NHS since qualifying, running drop-in workshops, mini retreats and workshops in addiction services. Mindfulness is proven to be beneficial but is still evolving. I am interested in working with older people like myself now. 

I'm proposing a secular Mindfulness Group for Islington U3A to meet for two hours once a month face to face.

No experience required and it will deepen any existing practice. Mindfulness is paying attention in present moment without judging (Jon Kabat Zinn)."
