For each meeting we read a novel in French. The discussion
takes place in French, although members are free to switch
to English if they wish. We read a wide range of books, both
contemporary and 19th century. We prefer to read books of
not more than 250pp, and when possible we try to choose a
few books in advance to make them easier to obtain. If you
are interested in joining please contact the Group
Coordinator. We have occasional vacancies, and we maintain a
waiting list. During the past year we have read books by
Judith Perrignon, François Mauriac, Guy de Maupassant,
Voltaire, Annie Ernaux, Anatole France, and Colette.
