The group takes it in turn to choose a book
to r
ead in French. The person making the choice
gives an introduction to the book in French, followed by
discussions in English or French, depending on members'
preferences. Our choice of books currently concentrates on
post 1940s writers. The first two books we have chosen are La
Claire Fontaine by David Bosc and Le Chapeau de
Mitterrand by Antoine Laurain. We will follow these up
with books recommended by group members.
